In response to your tumblr query: $50 in a market environment is no too much for a hand made dress! Especially if they are made from cotton. Other fabrics would maybe make me feel a bit conscious about paying $50. Anyway, I am excited for you to make more dresses because summer is when I can work and actually afford them and I've been watching your blogs for awhile now being jealous of how adorable these dresses are and how fast they get sold.
i second Kassie's response. i don't think it's exy even for the markets as long as you mention that this is handmade by you personally. if someone really likes your design and knows that you personally made it yourself, i'm sure they would pay for it. i know i would :)
look forward to more dresses from you and hope the next time i can snap them up before someone else does!
twenty two year old media + communications grad living in melbourne. i like a damn good sandwich, dresses from the 1970s, photographs of outer space and dying my hair a lot.
